BIOMED 99 Center for medical diagnostics
was founded in March 1999 by a family of physicians: Dr.
Plamenka Ivanova and Dr. Tzvetan Tzenkov with the purpose
to provide fast, efficient and good quality diagnostics.
Since then the Biomed Medical Center (MC) has established
on the market of medical services thanks to its high quality
and modern approach to the medical activity. The Center
disposes of almost any kind of medical specialists
who have signed contracts with the Regional Health Insurance
Fund.
The organization of the laboratory operation
guarantees the high quality of servicing through the iLab

Each biological material shall be labeled
with a unique bar code label, ensuring the identification
of the material and the correctness of the data obtained.
Established modern methods are used for the lab tests;
the apparatuses and facilities meet the high international
quality standards (ISO 9001). They are installed and maintained
by specialised technical offices and services of the company-manufacturers.
The individual diagnostic divisions are managed
by specialists in the respective areas - Clinical Laboratory,
Microbiology, etc. doctors, chemists, engineers, biologists,
laboratory assistants and other staff work for the laboratory.

Dr. Plamenka Ivanova
- owner of the medical center, specialist
in clinical laboratory. She graduated medicine in
the Medical Academy Sofia in 1988 and the same year
began working for the clinical laboratory at the
District Workers' Hospital in the city of Vidin.
She was conferred with the clinical laboratory specialty
in 1994. She worked abroad in the period 1996-1998
(in Libya). Since 1999 she has been the founder
and the owner of the Center for Medical Diagnostics
"Biomed 99" Ltd. She attends regularly national
and international congresses.
Dr. Tzvetan Tzenkov, specialist in Internal Diseases and Cardiology. He graduated medicine in the Medical Academy Sofia in 1986. After graduating he has been working entirely in the field of cardiology: 1986-1989

Dr.
Stanimira Hristova: specialist in skin diseases. She graduated the Medical Academy Sofia in 1979. She has been holding the specialty of Dermatovenerology since 1985. Since 1990 she has been the Head of the Skin Diseases Ward with the "St. Petka" Multi-Profile Hospital of Active Therapy in the city of Vidin. She is a dermatologist consultant at the "Biomed-99" medical center.
Dr. Valery Hristov:
graduated the Medical Academy Sofia in 1979. He
has been holding the specialty of Internal diseases
since 1984 and Nephrology since 1987. Abdominal

Daniela Kalotova, graduated the Medical
Academy Sofia in 1979. She acquired the specialty
of Nephrology in 1984. She has been working in the
"Biomed-99" medical center since 2000.
Dr.
Eli Papavassiliou: graduated the Medical
Academy Sofia in 2002. She has been working in the
"Biomed-99" medical center since 2003.
Dr. Yavor Svilenov: graduated medicine in the Medical University, Kraiova, Romania in 2000. He is been a GP since 2001 and has been specializing General medicine since 2003.
Dr. Bilyana Valova:
graduated medicine in the Medical University "Karol Davilla", Bucharest, Romania in 2001. She has been working at the "Biomed-99" medical center since November 2001 and specializing Clinical laboratory since 2002.
Dr. Kalina Savova: graduated the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1984. Since 01 January 1985 she has worked for the Psychiatric Ward at the District Workers' Hospital in Vidin. Since 1992 she has been known as well-established specialist in Psychiatry. She has been working for the "Biomed-99" medical center since 2000.
Dr. Rouslan Milev: graduated the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1986 and he holds the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1992.
Dr. Ilka Pavlova, graduated the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1986, specialty Otorhinolaryngology in 1991. She has been practicing this specialty for 17 years.

Liliya Varbovska - graduated the Medical
Academy in Sofia in 1977. She has been working as
a surgeon for the Sveta Petka Multi Profile Active
Therapy Hospital since 1978. She has acquired the
specialty of Surgery since 1983 following an internship
in the Institute for Qualification and Training
of Doctors (ISUL) - Sofia. She has been working
in the Biomed 99 medical center since 2002.
Dr. Iveta Naidenova - graduated the Higher Institute of Medicine - Pleven in 1988. She has the following specialties: internal diseases in 1994, pneumology and phtisiatrics in 1997. She completed a bronchology course in 1998.
Dr. Svetoslav Andreev - graduated the Higher Institute of Medicine - Pleven in 1991. Since 1991 he has been working at the cardiologic ward with the District Workers' Hospital - Vidin ("Sveta Petka" Multi Profile Active Therapy Hospital). In 1996 he has acquired the specialty of internal diseases. He manages the Labour Medicine Office at the "Biomed 99" medical center.
Dr. Ivanka Penelska: specialist in internal diseases and gastroenterology and dietetics. She graduated the Higher Institute of Medicine Sofia in 1968. She has specialized in the Institute for Qualification and Training of Doctors (ISUL). She completed a course of abdominal echography in the Higher Institute of Medicine Sofia in 1980 and for 23 years she has worked on the echograph. She has worked for the "Biomed 99" medical center since 2001.
Dr. Tatyana Tosheva:
graduated dentistry in the Medical Academy Sofia
in 1992. She is a specialist in General Stomatology
and Orthodontia. She has specialized Orthodontics
in Switzerland.
Dr. Proletka Angelova: graduated dentistry in the Medical Academy Sofia in 1991. The specialty of General Orthodontics acquired in 1997.
Dr. Plamen Yotov. Specialist in pediatrics with 11 years of experience in the specialty, graduated the Medical University Pleven in 1992. He has been the Head of Ward with the Children's ….. (ÄÌÑÃÄ) in Vidin since 2001.
Dr. Tzvetan Vassilev,
graduated the Higher Medical Institute - Pleven in 1991. He acquired the specialty of surgery in the Medical Academy Sofia in 1998.
Dr. Boris Kormanov, graduated the Medical Academy Sofia in 1985. He acquired the specialty of nephrology in 1989 and of neurosurgery in 1993.
